Hello, I'm Jay

As a Product Designer, I started my professional journey through my passion for the arts. Being a creative individual, I expressed myself through sketching and painting. As a kid, I would spend my free time dabbling in various artistic activities. In my teenage years, I taught myself digital tools like Photoshop. My passion for art only deepened from there. Combining my background in engineering with my love for arts, I decided to get into the field of User Experience (UX) Design.

Through my Masters studies, I honed my skills to design solutions that prioritize the user. By empathizing with users and understanding their needs and pain points, I strive to create designs that are intuitive, seamless, and delightful. My proficiency in translating user requirements into visually compelling designs, enables me to design experiences that champion the user. Having Product Owner experience along with design, I am also a strategic design thinker and can create solutions that meet business objectives while still resonating with the end-user.

In my free time, I enjoy painting. Recently, I have been experimenting with watercolors and collages (You can see some of my artwork below!). I also like to stay on top of developments in the field of cosmology and astrophysics, marveling at the inventions that unravel the mysteries of the universe. When visiting new places, I enjoy admiring the architecture of the location. I am always happy to chat over a cup of coffee, getting to know people and what drives them!
